Course Reflective Narrative
The HCOM 312 class what was interesting about this was when we made an individual presentation. In my presentation of the governments of the world, it was my turn to expose the country of Greece. We had to investigate the governments of each country. Its capital, the inhabitants of Grecias, the geographical area, the rivers, the official language, its currency, its religion and something important the traditions of the country. The three branches of government. Also in the presentation, we had to make a government comparison of the United States. My comparison between the United States and Greece, are very different. The United States is economically powerful, but Greece is a country with a lot of culture. Finally, we work in an interview where about our goals in life. In the interview that I had to work with my partner Martha, one of my goals is that I want to be a Spanish teacher. My short-term goals are to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. Then obtain a bachelor's degree at the University of San Jose. I also liked working as a team of six, every six weeks we had to discuss a topic. We made a reflective forum where we gave what we think of assigned topics.
In that I finish my interview of the goals that we had. This type of interviews is interesting because in this way you know a little about the people you live with in the salon. When I made a list of vocabulary help me that were given to us in class, a vocabulary to obtain better English. Finally, it was a difficult class because English is my second language and I am in the process of learning English.
