Course Reflective Narrative
I call this class a motivation class. I had the opportunity to see documental films and poems of people who always motivate people, sometimes they make you cry about their testimonies. We also saw several poems by Argentine authors. The class was also very exciting and I had to make a presentation on gender discrimination. For a final presentation was the theme of identity for the reason that we saw a very strong documentary about the dictatorship in Argentina in the late 70s where the government kidnaps pregnant women with their partners and after mothers gave birth to murdered and children gave them up for adoption. Thanks to the grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo, around 100 children have been recovered captive by the Argentine dictatorship. For my final presentation, I decided to talk about a movie called "Captive" precisely it speaks of a girl who was adopted and at age 16 Dinah realized that her true identity was not who she thought she was. It was very interesting because there were classmate exhibits of their identity of the place where they were born. Traditions of their place of origin and food. Without forgetting the contest of poems of discrimination against the LGBT community, the majority did a good job, I see the winners. My classmate shared his poem with the rest of the class for me he was very professional. How you see was a very interesting class. It is good to learn a little from each student, each student has their talent to communicate. Finally, it was a class that always left motivated.
